If you did not elect to transfer your Mellon HSA funds in the group transfer, here are your options:
Leave your funds in your Mellon account. If you leave your money with Mellon, you will be responsible for any administrative fees. The listing of fees is located online when you access your Mellon account online. You can elect to do an individual transfer. You can contact Mellon and elect to transfer your account to any financial institution. A transfer can be done at any time. You can use a Mellon HSA check and write out a check to your Bank of America account. Bank of America deposit slips were included with your Bank of America User Guide. Be sure to indicate on the deposit slip that the money is for prior year contribution.
