Health Maintenance Organization (HMO)
An HMO is a medical plan that typically provides negotiated discounts to its members, usually on a pre-paid basis. For the most part, members must receive medical care through a plan provider in order to receive benefits.

Depending on your location, you may have access to an HMO or fully insured PPO plan:

• California Association employees may enroll in Anthem Blue Cross.
• Western AgCredit employees may enroll in SelectHealth HMO.
• Farm Credit Services of Hawaii employess may enroll in Hawaii Medical Service Association (HMSA) HMO or Hawaii Medical Service Association (HMSA) PPO.
