You may have received a letter from Bank of America recently stating that as a “former employee of Farm Credit” you are eligible to continue your Health Savings Account (HSA) on an individual basis.

This was a form letter generated by Bank of America. The intent of the letter was to inform you that you been removed from the group funding arrangement and that as of June 1, you are responsible for all account fees associated with your HSA.

Monthly HSA fees are paid by the plan only for current Consumer Choice PPO medical plan participants.  However, with the issues surrounding the transfer of funds from Mellon to Bank of America, all routine monthly account fees were paid through May 1.
